Over 5,000 years later, tea is one of the most consumed beverages worldwide and can be made from a wide variety of leaves, herbs, fruits, or roots steeped in hot water. Grow ingredients your own herbal tea blend using the seeds, starter pellets, and pots included in this kit and learn about the science behind the varieties of tea with How to Make Tea by Brian R. Keating and Kim Long. Limit one kit per household.

Originally used to create offerings for altars, ikebana is the traditional Japanese art of using flowers, leaves, and stems in differently-shaped vases to achieve an austere but beautiful arrangement. Japan-America Society of Indiana's Project Coordinator Minori Abel will demonstrate the techniques used in ikebana and assist you in creating your own arrangement. Materials will be provided.
