Ages 12- 18:  Are you a Jedi, a Whovian or something else entirely?  Break out your best fandom-inspired costume and celebrate as your favorite character at the 3rd Annual Fandom Prom.  Dance the night away with your friends or hit up the game room for tabletop and card gaming.  Cosplay is encouraged, but please leave your realistic weapons at home.  Prizes will be awarded for Scariest, Funniest, Best Duo/Group and Best Individual Costumes.  Pick up begins promptly at 8:30pm.  Please register all participants separately.

Safe Sitter

Ages 11-18: Safe Sitter® is a one-day, nationally certified course designed for children ages 11 and up. Taught in a fun and interactive format, Safe Sitter® teaches participants safe and nurturing child care techniques, behavior management skills and appropriate responses to medical emergencies. In a Safe Sitter® class, students learn through lively discussion, practice and role-play about a variety of topics, including babysitting ethics and etiquette and the business aspects of babysitting.  Free to those who register.  Lunch provided to participants. Parent permission slip and photo release required prior to start of class. Visit the Youth Services Department to complete the forms.
