Family Fun Night! Superhero Night

For kids in grades K-5, their families and siblings. Enjoy Superhero stories to get in the mood for this year’s Summer Reading Program, “Every Hero has a Story.” We will brainstorm ideas about what kinds of superheroes would be cool and have a simple writing and drawing activity. Kids will have the opportunity to sign up for the Summer Reading Club and pick out a free book. No registration necessary; call Youth Services for information at 232-1115. P.S. Blindfold Birding Class by the Vigo County Parks and Recreation Department

Visual identification of birds requires a line of sight vantage point. When you learn how to "bird by ear" your experience widens to 360 degrees. Join Natural resource Programmer, Amber Slaughterbeck, to learn how to identify common birds by their songs. After we learn their songs, we'll venture outside to test our new skills-blindfolded! This program is suitable for individuals of all ages and abilities.

Sensory Storytime
