Can you be a crime scene investigator? The Girl Scouts of Central Indiana will bring the STEM van to the VCPL. This program will challenge children to solve a crime using hands-on techniques, while teaching them what it takes to be criminal detectives.  Registration is required. The STEM van can only accommodate 30 children per hour.

Learn awesome skills to become an Ornithologist, Botanist, Geologist and Entomologist during this do-it-yourself program with the Vigo County Parks and Recreation Department. Earn a patch with each skill completion. Patches provided by the Vigo County Parks and Recreation Department. Monday 6/27 is sign up and information day. Activities run 6/28 through 7/1/16.

The Vigo County Public Library, West Branch in partnership with Purdue Extension, Marie West and other local community organizations will help you get in the game this summer. Activities include cooking, planting, crafts, fun science experiments and outdoor games. Library programs will run from 1pm to 4pm each day and registration is required. Parental involvement and participation are encouraged at all young peoples' events and programs.
