Ages 8 - 14: Are you dreaming of being a writer? Got lots of ideas in your head you want to put on paper? An entire universe of stories will be at your fingertips in this hands-on class. Students will  practice several creative writing techniques that will get even the craziest ideas out of their heads and onto the paper. Students will experiment with writing in fiction or non-fiction, and will leave the class with completed writing exercises and lots of ideas to keep writing a world of stories outside of class.

Ages 5 - 11: Become a NASA astronaut by going through official training! Make your way through various stations to learn how to walk on the moon, eat like an astronaut, and much more. After completing the training each child earns their own NASA badge to become an official astronaut.

Thursday, July 11 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Ages 5 - 11: Design and create your own lunar explorer to send to the moon. Using the engineering design process then test the design to see if it can make a safe landing. Pair this with Soaring through Space for an additional engineering challenge.
