Girls will learn about confidence, teamwork and self-acceptance with Raise Your Hand, a book and movement created by Alice Paul Tapper, an 11-year-old Girl Scout, that helps girls identify their strengths and skills and discover how to find and connect with mentors.

Experiment with writing in fiction or non-fiction styles and practice several creative techniques that will get even the wildest ideas out of your head and onto the paper. Leave the class with completed writing exercises and ideas to keep writing a world of stories.
