This history of Troy, Indiana is the work of a renowned genealogy researcher who lived in Jasper, Indiana. Frank Baertich was born January 19, 1901 and died May 1, 1978. Upon his death, his widow, Claudine Baertich, gave his entire genealogical collection to the Vigo County Public Library.
