Technical Services Manager

The Vigo County Public Library currently has a full-time non-exempt 40 hours per week department manager position available for the position of Technical Services Manager. A MLS degree is required, and candidate must be able to obtain an Indiana Librarian Certification of LC4 or higher. The primary work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM-5:00 PM. The Technical Services Manager is responsible for planning, directing, engaging in, and overseeing operations in the Technical Services (TS) Department in support of the goals and objectives of the VCPL. The TS Manager provides behavioral and functional leadership through training and development of staff and is an active agent in analyzing, facilitating, and implementing workflow in conjunction with departmental and system wide priorities, processes, procedures, and resources.
